Abandoned article, No objections to redirect if desired. Thanks. –Davey2010Talk 21:28, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
- The user is active today. Why didn't you contact him? Abandoned userpages are not a problem per se, and if anything needs doing, redirection or replacing with {{Inactive userpage blanked}} should be considered before MfD. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 22:31, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
And you chose to not notify him? --SmokeyJoe (talk) 12:14, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- I hadn't checked whether he was active and as far as I knew he was notified ... If he wasn't then Twinkle obviously failed, You may want to read WP:AGF before assuming bad faith with everyone!, I've now notified him[1]. –Davey2010Talk 14:58, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- What is the issue with retaining userspace draft articles? If there is an issue with search redirecting into this space then I understand but for longer articles I tend to start drafts in my sandbox before moving them into regular articles. Cheers, Mliu92 (talk) 15:08, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Mliu92 - It usually becomes an issue when they've not been worked on for a long periods of time, In this case you'd copied the article to here in August 2016 and that was the only edit you made to it, I mean no disrespect but it shouldn't take over half a year to improve an article in a userpage, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 15:32, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks Davey2010 and no offense taken. I understand completely and if that's what's needed to clean up, then I have no issues with the deletion since there really wasn't much action on it. There's some other draft articles in there that I should revisit, then, as progress has been sporadic on many. Cheers, Mliu92 (talk) 15:45, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Mliu92, If you have plans to update the article I would be more than happy to withdraw, Usually userpage drafts that haven't been edited for a long time are usually deleted but as I said if you do have plans to edit it then I'd be more than happy to withdraw, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 16:05, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

- "Usually userpage drafts that haven't been edited for a long time are usually deleted"? No, they are not. Old userpages are usually left alone. They are deleted when there is a WP:UPNOT or WP:NOT problem. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 13:02, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
- Yes they are, and no they're not - They're deleted if they haven't been edited for long periods of time. –Davey2010Talk 13:48, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
