Tyson Jay Ritter (born April 24, 1984) is the lead vocalist and bass guitarist of The All-American Rejects. In addition to being a singer-songwriter, he has also worked as a model and actor.
Biography
Ritter lived in Stillwater, Oklahoma for most of his life. Ritter loved rock music, and was an avid AC/DC fan. He met Nick Wheeler at a party, where he lied to Wheeler that he could play bass in order to join the band. He quickly learned to play the bass guitar, and shortly after joining Wheeler's band, the two musicians went off to start a new band, which would later become The All-American Rejects.
Ritter has also worked as a model, and has appeared in Glamour Magazine, as well as in various advertisements and fashion shows. Equipment
Tyson uses a variety of basses including a blue Gibson Thunderbird in the "Dirty Little Secret" music video, an ebony Gibson Flying V Bass in "The Last Song" and Swing Swing video, and a Fender Precision Bass as seen above which he used in the "It Ends Tonight" music video.
