My history on it.wiki is marked by a series of conflicts with admins, mainly arising from disagreements over article content (see the discussions on the talk pages of :it:Sindrome da alienazione parentale, :it:Analisi bioenergetica, :it:WP:Manuale di stile and :it:Masturbazione). These conflicts escalated due to my inexperience (I started editing in June 2021), my stubbornness and also (I think) due to the lack of procedures on the part of it.wiki to fairly handle disputes between newcomers and admins. However, I've never been involved in an edit war on it.wiki. At the end of one of these conflicts, I asked for my account to be blocked indefinitely, which I soon began to regret. Note that it.wiki has no unblocking procedure, no way to appeal a block, no standard offer. So, after a series of block evasions and the use of sockpuppets on my part, an admin initiated a discussion at the Teahouse, following which the community took the unprecedented decision to revise my block and reduce it from indefinite to 6 months (it expired in December 2022). Since then, I've never evaded the block nor created sockpuppets. |
During the extensive discussion that led to this decision, some users felt that unblocking my account was not advisable, but others, including admins, expressed trust or esteem for my contribution: I suoi edit sono molto importanti per questa enciclopedia, sono indubbiamente migliorativi ("his edits are very important for this encyclopaedia, they are undoubtedly improvements"), Il suicidio dell'utenza non è derivato a mio avviso dalla non volontà di contribuire dell'utente, ma da una sensazione di dissidio insanabile e poi da un casus belli specifico quanto occasionale ("The account's suicide did not stem, in my opinion, from the user's unwillingness to contribute, but from a feeling of irremediable disagreement and also from a casus belli as specific as it was occasional"), posso solo confermare che i suoi contributi sul ns:0 erano di altissimo livello ("I can only confirm that his contributions to the article namespace were of a very high standard"), etc. While I'm not at all proud of what happened on it.wiki, I feel that it should not hinder my collaboration with en.wiki. |
My history on es.wiki is much shorter and yet far less clear to me: the facts are reported here (in Spanish). The accusations levelled at me (being a single-purpose account on the Quran, having engaged in disruptive editing and edit war) were simply false. I had made a series of consecutive edits (with no intervening edits by another user) on :es:Corán and I had explained all of them in the edit summaries; I was reverting the disruptive edits of an anti-Islamic POV-pusher who had been blocked in seven or eight different wikipedias, including en.wiki. All my edits were improvements. I'm not a pro-Islamic SPA and on es.wiki I didn't edit war - when reverted, I did not revert again. I believe the admins of es.wiki passively accepted and implemented the assessment made (but also revoked) by it.wiki ("A rotten apple! indefinite block") without listening to my arguments and without checking what had happened on the Corán article. This can sometimes happen in smaller wiki projects, where admins feel surrounded by POV-pushers and vandals, and have neither the time nor the inclination to ponder their decisions regarding apparently "dodgy" newcomers. |

The Kelsen Kreis from 1911 that grew into the Vienna School in the 1920s.248 Apart from Alfred Verdross (1890–1980), whose alignments were obscure, most of them were liberals or social-democrats, openly opposed to the rise of the German extreme right and forced to leave Germany either for that reason, because of their Jewishness, or both. Notwithstanding the claim to “purity” (objectivity, neutrality) of legal knowledge, the members of the Vienna School were actively involved in political confrontation. Open advocacy for a juristic method was also an argument for the autonomy of the legal profession.
