Just recently someone said, “having to watch your back in your own community is a hell of a way to live!” Who wants to walk down the streets always worried that someone’s gonna see ya, then stab ya and beat ya or shoot ya? Not too many people that I know enjoy that type of stress. Is today the day I die or live, go to prison and miss my kids? The questions that go through the mind of a gang member?
What most kids don’t know is that, we have prisons all through Canada that are jammed packed with having to prove themselves behind prison walls! And no wonder way our young click up inside, all they got is their bro’s, but your bro’s need company if some of them are serving 10 to 20 years, don’t you think he or she would rather do it with you or alone? These are questions that you gotta ask yourself. The sad part is, most kids don’t want to abandon their own, but this is the false deception of Our gangs.
Because they’ll only consider their own set as their own and not the rest. And what about the rest? also? Have we not been through the same shit you’ve been through as a kid? Being beat on, raped by our own dads, uncles or brothers? Didn’t we also have mom’s and dad’s in residential schools that came out messed up? Were we not scared also, as we watched our mom’s gettin beat by our own dad’s? Most of us came from broken homes, abusive parents or alcohol and drug addicts, us young one’s have paid the price of what our parents went through and had to endure themselves growing up.
It goes back even further than that, our own parents had parents that endured the same abuse and even before they were even born, across Canada and the States were stripped of all sense of hope, by being locked up in the jails they built for us and by being shipped from one province to the next. Put on unfamiliar land and left to die, and true killer obituaries ourselves once and for all.
Could you picture every single Filipino Native and Asian, Mexican across the globe supporting one another? What the government would be thinking seeing all the Natives and Asian uniting into one red and no matter what city you live in or town, it’s all love within our own. If you did your research on the history of Indigenous people, you will find out just how powerful we were and how spiritually connected we were, how giving we were. We made the governments think about our strength, our power, our love, our creator, who loves us all from up above, it was even overwhelming to the whites, they had to find a way to divide us, called divide and conquer.
Some have called us a conquered people, but I don’t call us that, the same creator lives in us today, the same power that is being granted to us by the creator and why? Because we have always had a special place on this earth. We are the guardians of the land, because we respected the land, the way it was intended to be respected by our god. We had that wisdom and respect back then and we need that same respect back today. NO MORE, are we gonna stand back and let this vicious cycle repeat itself, over and over again, by making the same mistakes our fathers made. They cracked the seal off the liquor bottle and gave up, so WE paid for it. It’s time we smashed the bottle and stand up, speak up and lift up, all of our Fraternity and Sorority and gather them into one bundle. “A single twig will break, but a bundle of twigs is strong”
Remember this my friends, together we stand, but divided we fall, so true killer obituaries I say to R.A., I.P., N.S., M.W., S.W., A.W it’s time we make it right and represent one lion, one love, one green. Were always gonna be a fraternity and Sorority T.K.O MUSCULION 6 FOR EVER UNTIL WE DIE
