Arame Niang (born February 14, 1997) is a Senegalese basketball player.[1] She currently plays on the Cincinnati Bearcats women's basketball team.[2]
Early life
Arame Niang is the daughter of Nogaye Diene and Mamadou Niang, and she has four brothers named Mouhamed, Mohamed, Ahmadou, and Babacar.[3][4]
Basketball career
She sat out the 2017–18 season to satisfy NCAA transfer requirements and got three years of eligibility remaining. She joined the Lady Toppers from Kansai Gaidai University in Hirakata, Japan in 2017–18 season.[4] In 2019–2020 season, she sat out the season due to NCAA transfer rules.[3]
