Hi! My name is JohnLaurensAnthonyRamos333, or JLAR3 for short, and I'm a Wikipedian who enjoys copy editing and reverting vandalism. I have a guestbook you can sign, a talk page you can discuss on, and a user page (hint: you're warm) you can read. I've made over 3,000 contributions to the English Wikipedia.
Disclaimer: My user page contains a lot of unhelpful and silly information, but my edits are serious.
Disclaimer X: I am not the number 333, neither am I the number 3, nor the number 33.
Another Disclaimer: Meesa not Jar-Jar, if you were wondering.
Did I revert your edit and mark it as vandalism? FAQ
How is my edit vandalism?
Vandalism is when an editor, in good faith or bad, makes an unconstructive edit to a page, such as blanking or adding gibberish. Sometimes this can be an accident, which is why it is important to always assume good faith.
My edit wasn't vandalism. How do I get it fixed without engaging in an edit war?
I may mistakenly revert your edit and label it as vandalism. If I do so, I apologize. Please state why your edit wasn't vandalism on your talk page, mine, or the article talk page.
How can I help revert vandalism?
Thanks for wanting to help! Reverting vandalism is a never-ending job. You can join an anti-vandalism WikiProject, or you can just revert vandalism on your own. A useful tool is the recent changes page, which is especially helpful if you use the filters to find vandalism.
JLAR3 Day
JLAR3 "officially" declares December 20th "JLAR3 Day" in honor of their 1,000th edit, which was made on December 20th, 2023.
My editing and views
Edits
I generally only fix typos and grammatical errors, but I sometimes (bravely, in my spectacular and supreme opinion) change the wording of sentences I feel are not at their best. I also enjoy de-orphaning articles and adding article summaries. I fight vandalism with the power of civility. I hope.
Links
I hate/revile/barf at (take your pick) the sight of red links, like the sight of blue links, and love the sight of purple links.
Humor/Humour
I think I'm funny. It's up to you to decide whether this is true or not.
Fear
I am terrified of wasting another user's time by droning on and on and on and on and on my user page. Such a bored user may find themselves reading the same sentence over and over. Such a bored user may find themselves reading the same sentence over and over. Such a bored user may find themselves reading the same sentence over and over.
As such, I am officially (and proudly) a Wikipediholic.
This is what I was born to do.
So...I'm not perfect
I'm sometimes an impulsive editor, so please be patient with me! I thought I was more careful with my edits, but NOPE! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My overeager self always takes control. Sorry for any inconveniences that may cause. I'll do my best!
Draft
I'm currently writing this draft for the novel The First to Die at the End. Feel free to improve it if you'd like.
