It will be contested by Manchester United and either Barcelona or Chelsea. This will be the fifth year in a row in which the final involves at least one English team. The current holders of the trophy are finalists Manchester United of the Premier League[3], who are the first defending champion to reach the final since Juventus in 1997, and will be looking to be the first team to retain the UEFA Champions League since A.C. Milan in 1990 (As the European Cup).
