The 2019 Women's March is an event planned for 19 January 2019.[1] It follows the 2017 Women's March and 2018 Women's March.[2][3]
Chairwoman Linda Sarsour has announced that the main march will take place in Washington, D.C.[2]
Participants
Actress Alyssa Milano, who spoke at the 2018 Women's March, has refused to participate in 2019, citing the failure of March leaders Tamika Mallory and Linda Sarsour to condemn the homophobia, antisemitism, and transphobia of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.[4][5]
