Jordan Neil White (born 4 February 1992) is a professional Scottish footballer who plays for Scottish First Division side Falkirk, as a forward. On 3 month loan deal to Stirling Albion until end of December 2012.
Career
Dunfermline
White who was born in Bellshill,[1] began his professional career with Dunfermline Athletic, signing a full-time contract with the Fife side in June 2008, making his senior debut aged only 16 in a friendly match against Hearts on 16 July 2008.[1] He made his competitive senior debut on 18 August 2009, in a Scottish Challenge Cup tie against Queen of the South.[2]
White was awarded with the Dunfermline Athletic Under 19 Player of the Year Award for 2009–10 season.[3] He agreed a 1 year contract extension at the club for 2010–11 season.[4]
White was offered a further one-year contract with Dunfermline Athletic on 6 May 2011 only for this to be withdrawn as the manager claimed White had not signed within the timescale of the offer.[5] White made 1 competitive appearance for Dunfermline Athletic in 2009–10 season.
Clyde (loan)
White signed on loan for Clyde in November 2009.[6]
White scored his first senior goal in the 2–2 draw with Alloa Athletic on 6 March 2010. He had previously netted on 7 December 2009 in a Scottish Cup tie against Livingston, but the goal did not officially count as the game was abandoned.[7] White made 22 competitive appearances,the majority in right midfield position, for Clyde scoring 4 goals in 2009–10 season.
Dumbarton (loan)
White signed on loan for Dumbarton in March 2011 for the remainder of the 2010–11 season.[8] White made 8 competitive appearances for Dumbarton in the 2010–11 season.
Drogheda United
White was invited on trial with League of Ireland Premier Division club Drogheda United in June 2011. White was offered a contract until 30 October which is the end of the League of Ireland season, after impressing manager Mick Cooke, scoring in two friendly matches against Dundalk and also Dundee United at Hunky Dorys Park on Sunday 26 June 2011.[9]
White made his League of Ireland debut coming on as a late substitute in a 1–0 loss against Shamrock Rovers on Friday 15 July 2011 at Hunky Dorys Park.
White scored his first competitive goal for Drogheda United in a FAI Cup tie against Dundalk on Tuesday 30 August 2011.[10]
White made his first start on Saturday 3 September 2011 against UCD scoring his first League of Ireland goal.[11] White made 15 competitive appearances for Drogheda United scoring 2 goals in season 2011.
Clyde
White re-signed for Clyde on Friday 2 December 2011 as an amateur until 8 January 2012.[12] White made his first start of the season for Clyde a day later on 3 December 2011 at Shielfield Park against Berwick Rangers where Clyde won 2–0.[13] White made 6 competitive appearances for Clyde scoring 1 goal in season 2001/12.
Falkirk
During his second spell with Clyde, White caught the eye of Falkirk manager Steven Pressley. White was invited to train with the club for a week and after impressing the manager he was offered a contract until the end of 2012–13 season.White scored in a bounce game against Dunfermline Athletic on 10 January 2012 and signed for the club after this game.[14] White made his debut for Falkirk coming on as a late substitute against Ayr United on 14 January 2012.[15] White made his 54th and last competitive appearance as a teenager in the Scottish League Cup semi-final against Celtic at Hampden Park on 29 January 2012. White made his full debut for Falkirk on 11 Feb 2012 playing 90 mins against Morton.White has featured in 18 games for the Bairns, 12 as a substitute, having limited game time as Falkirk play with a lone striker for most games. He featured in the hole just behind the main striker in his substitute appearances in season 2012/13 and performed well.White scored his first competitive goal for Falkirk scoring 2 goals in a 3–0 victory against Stenhousemuir in the Stirlingshire Cup on 4 September 2012.
Stirling Albion (loan)
White signed on loan for Stirling Albion on 21 September 2012 for 3 months. A day later White scored on his debut for his new club v Berwick Rangers on 22 September 2012.[16]
White continued his good start by scoring 2 goals the following week in a 5 goal victory against Dalbeattie Star on 29 September 2012.[17]
White was also impressive in the historical one goal defeat of Rangers on 6 October 2012.[18]
White scored 4 goals in 5 starts since joining Stirling Albion on loan and is now the clubs top scorer.[19]
White previously scored 2 goals in his only start for Falkirk in season 2012/13.[20] To date he now has a total of 6 goals and 5 assists in 10 starts in season 2012/13 .
