Aijitsurō Zenshū (愛日楼全集) is a Japanese collection of writings in Classical Chinese by the Edo-period scholar Satō Issai.
Overview
Aijitsurō Zenshū is a collection of the writings of the scholar Satō Issai,[1] written between 1793 and 1856.[1] It is divided into 56 books, in 16 volumes,[1] and consists of both kanbun (prose writings in Classical Chinese) and kanshi (poetry in Classical Chinese.[1]
Contents
Book 44 is an account of a journey to Nikkō-san (日光山行記 Nikkō-san kōki).[1]
Books 45 to 56 consist of poetry.[1]
