Tagar Culture - So.Siberian Iron Age archeological culture of the 7th-3rd cc. BC. The carriers of the culture were Europoids of the Scythian circle. Tagars lived in surface timber dwellings. The dwelling were heated by clay ovens and large hearths. Some settlements were surrounded by fortifications. Economic mainstream in the Tagar society were animal draft agriculture and cattle breeding, predominantly large horned livestock and horses, goats and sheep. Harvest was collected with bronze sickles and reaping knifes. Grain was ground with mill grinders. [1]
