Hi, I am sorry I only noticed this post a moment ago while I was archiving. I was away for a couple of weeks and didn't check my talk comprehensively it seems when I got back. I am not an expert on the issue but I will take a look at it - although I don't know what kind of an atmosphere reigns in Turkish wiki :) So how come you speak Turkish? Couldn't see any TR flags in your user page, so I was just curious.. Baristarim 03:24, 30 March 2007 (UTC) |

:Ah, ok it was changed then.. I would have thought that it would have been pretty obvious even in TR wiki, and was kind of surprised when I read your post - thus my comment above about the Turkish wiki :) Even though I am not an expert, I know the background of the story :) As for the tr flag, no particular point, it was because I couldn't see Turkey as a place where you have lived or been to in your user page, and it is pretty rare for someone to know a language when they haven't been to that country. Just curious, that's all :) But you do have a point about Azeri I suppose. Again, I am sorry for getting back this late - I was perusing the posts one last time before archiving.. |

:Btw, I just ran into the ArbCom case two days ago.. I knew that there was some bad stuff going on (from all those reverts popping up on my watchlist :)), but had no idea that it had gotten so bad. In fact, it is the general systemic bias which condemns articles from all of Eastern Med and Caucasia to oblivion among the general public.. Except Israel-palestine and Iraq issues (lately), there are rarely any impartial editors who stick their hands in.. I would have tried to come in and help cool it a bit, but I am also not an expert nor a native therefore I might not have been quite helpful. I hope that it has gotten better lately.. Thanks for uploading :Image:AZS.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged. |

Such a blatant removal - of not even shortening but just cutting - is not acceptable. You guys tell me what you find so problematic with it, ignoring length since Kemal is the only reason you guys hold those lands, but this is otherwise suppression of sources and info. You don't even bother trying to edit the information and instead opt for a complete removal of the passage. My message on the talk page has been there for days and no one has yet to respond. I know what this man represents to your people but this is cynical. --MarshallBagramyan 16:27, 30 March 2007 (UTC) |

:1) You see Ataturk attacking Armenia, Turks see Turkish revolutionaries as a whole. 2) It is Kazim Karabekir that was facing ADR not ATATURK (as it is referred in your text for war activities). 3) Ataturk had never (not once) visited the battle zone. 4) The war between ADR and Turksih revolutinaries needs to be extended and you personally need to prove that genocide is performed to claim such ... (there is no word to it) 4) If it Turkish-Armenian War is a GENOCIDE; than you should develop it under ARMENIAN GENOCIDE not at this page (but you have no sincerity in this issue to take it under where it belongs) . This genocide of yours is also becoming a joke as everything between Armenians and Turks become a genocide. it looks like Turkish sneezing during 1914-1918 becomes a genocidal activity against Armenians. :::If you are "serious" about including Turkish-Armenian War as a part of Armenian genocide; I would be glad to verify your sources. The genocide is a very serious concept. If you are serious, and not "joking"; I would glad to give my time to find the credibility of what is not yet presented information about these events of yours. That information had to be occurred between 1920-1921 (from battle of Oltu to Treaty of Alexandropol). Ataturk stayed in the Ankara during this time, so there has to be a paperwork trail which should link him to these events of yours. Also I appreciate if you tell me where you are going to develop this concept. My personal choice is under Armenian Genocide. Otherwise I'm proposing you to be "serious" and remove these claims. ==License tagging for Image:Isakov is.jpg== |
|||
Thanks for uploading :Image:Isakov is.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images. |

I had added "in the Ottoman Empire" - so what was the problem? I am sorry, but it is not just about "belief that it didn't occur", you know this and is a distortion. I am sure there are those who think that way, however there are also those who think that the events wouldn't be considered as state-organized genocide. That version gives a clearer version of this, and you know that as well. I am sorry, but it seems to be POV-pushing. Thanks for uploading :Image:CzarniSlupsk.gif. |

If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the GFDL-self-no-disclaimers tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. Late, late re
Hi, I am sorry I only noticed this post [1] a moment ago while I was archiving. Baristarim 03:24, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, ok it was changed then..
- Btw, I just ran into the ArbCom case two days ago.. Rmvl of AG reference
--MarshallBagramyan 16:27, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- 1) You see Ataturk attacking Armenia, Turks see Turkish revolutionaries as a whole. ThanksOttomanReference 16:41, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- You are welcome to extend the Turkish-Armenian War. --OttomanReference 16:41, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- > MarshallBagramyan "prevent the suppression of that info" Which info? where is this info! You have a single sentence that does not any factuality. Do you have a gut to rewrite this genocide article with the sections heading WHO? WHOM? WHERE? HOW? WHICH METHODS? WHY? All you do is write single liners.. 1.5 million died? Where did they die? how did they die? can you answer these questions? let me remind you, 150,000 Armenian volunteer units were also included in this count of yours. People like you turn the concept of a genocide into a JOKE. You are an Armenian Joke. I state again; if you are serious, the Armenian genocide page is the place to develop a section that explains how this Turkish-Armenian War is a genocide. But you are not doing that... People like you brought DOUBT in to Armenian genocide. Have a nice day. OttomanReference 19:09, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- If you are "serious" about including Turkish-Armenian War as a part of Armenian genocide; I would be glad to verify your sources. Thanks. Have a nice day. --OttomanReference 23:33, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Isakov is.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Isakov is.jpg.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:07, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Please go read the lead of the Holocaust denial which is so often cited inappropriately. Baristarim 03:47, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Regarding reversions[5] made on April 16 2007 to Denial of the Armenian Genocide
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. Thank you. Khachkars
Nice work so far, though I would probably move the article from "Khachkar destruction in Nakhichevan" to "Status of Armenian cultural monuments in Nakhichevan" as it is less POV and will also allow us to discuss the destruction of churches and other noteworthy sites of Armenian cultural heritage in the region. -- Aivazovsky 12:45, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi! Thanks for the link. I had no idea about that book, but seems very interesting. The author being Turkish, makes it even more interesting. I was about to ask how come he is still free and not tried under article 301, but then I saw he has an article in wikipedia and read the... reasons. btw, it is such a shame that the Canadian authorities used wikipedia as an "excuse" for detaining him... Hi, I changed 'unusual' into 'atypically', because an adverb is gramatically required at that spot and 'unusually' has different connotations.
