Non-free use disputed for Image:S3dwe.jpg (RESOLVED)
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:S3dwe.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:31, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on MagicISO, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how MagicISO is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:MagicISO saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. -- intgr #%@! 05:54, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:S3dwe.jpg

Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:PhoenixGameEngine.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:PhoenixGameEngine.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:19, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Copyright violation in Phoenix Game Engine
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Phoenix Game Engine, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Phoenix Game Engine is unquestionably copyright infringement, and no assertion of permission has been made.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Phoenix Game Engine, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Reply to your question on my talk page
Yes, the rules can be a bit obtuse. The key is to understand what we mean by "notable", and to not take offense when someone says the thing you've been spending significant time on in the real world isn't notable on Wikipedia. To see what "notable" means on Wikipedia, see our notability guideline. Basically, it's not enough to have a web page, or to be nearing release. Instead, it needs to be covered in multiple, independent, reliable sources. --barneca (talk) 21:56, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:PhoenixGameEngine.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:PhoenixGameEngine.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:16, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. I tried changing it before, but Wikipedia has serious issues with satellite internet. It refused to let me edit my signature after the first time. ThymeCypher 14:21, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
- What do you mean by "satellite internet"? How does it disallow you to edit your sig? MathCool10 Sign here! 21:48, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
It uses a complex and rather... mental form of caching. They've reworked it so logging into Wikipedia is possible now. Originally, as soon as you'd log in, due to caching and internal cookie handling, the session would immediately be lost, and thus, log you right out. Sometimes due to this, when I submit info, some rare times, it resends old data or something. Not sure exactly what the issues is, but when I submit info, it sometimes claims a successful update but shows no changes. ThymeCypher 06:08, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Palringo.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Palringo.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:03, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

The article Sourena 3D World Editor has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Marasmusine (talk) 10:31, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Isosine
I deleted the article talk page you created at Talk:Isosine. Collecting references is a good idea, but an orphaned talk page is not a good place to store it. Instead, I recommend that you use your user space to hold draft articles as it should not be deleted from there. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:43, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
