Update: I have an email address now which is perrym3 at gmail dot com. GMail has good spam filtering, or so I am told by all of my friends in the know. Please email me there rather than use the talk page. That way we can have a real conversation. If it's worth archiving then we can find a way to put the entire thread somewhere on Wikipedia. Talk pages are still confusing to use. |

Email Update
Update: I have an email address now which is perrym3 at gmail dot com. GMail has good spam filtering, or so I am told by all of my friends in the know. Please email me there rather than use the talk page. That way we can have a real conversation. If it's worth archiving then we can find a way to put the entire thread somewhere on Wikipedia. Talk pages are still confusing to use.
Please Do Not Edit This Page
User Talk pages do not lend themselves to easy, threaded conversation amongst users of the Wikipedia system. A bulletin board or online forum would be better suited to that task.
If you have an issue with a page I have edited your best course of action is to edit that page further and correct the issue. If you feel something within an article needs discussion please post in the discussion page for the article in question. That will help to create a dialogue with all parties interested in the article and receive all points of view, as well as keep a threaded discussion in a single place that is tied to the subject matter. I often read the discussion page of articles that I have edited in the past if I am preparing to make another edit.
I do not read this page nor the comments in it. If it's changed I will eventually roll it back unread so that this message remains. This sounds harsh but I feel that it's better than having someone make the effort to comment here and never have their message read. At least I am letting you know up front so that you do not waste your time. Your efforts and creativity in commenting here would be much better served by just editing the article that you have an issue with to correct whatever issue you have with my work. I do not have, or try not to have, any emotional investment in my edits on Wikipedia pages.
If you still feel that you need to edit this page then please read Don't be a dick. Keep in mind that your message won't be read because I usually neglect this page and often edit without logging in.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Kind Regards,
Mperry
