:Mhhossein, "I don't have the time to deal with this" means exactly that. I don't care who is at fault; I am ''not going to look into it.'' If another admin wants to, they can do so, and AN is the place for that. [[User:Vanamonde93|Vanamonde]] ([[User Talk:Vanamonde93|Talk]]) 22:58, 21 June 2021 (UTC) |
Revision as of 22:58, 21 June 2021
Request the restoration of Patxi Xabier Lezama Perier
At some point, I noticed that Wikipedia's notability criteria (WP:ARTIST) says that a person is (likely) notable enough for an article if they are included in several museum collection.
The administrator SlimVirgin removed the page based on criteria (WP: ARTIST) and lack of reference from independent sources. This administrator has died and I cannot contact him.
Searching I found what the admin was requesting SlimVirgin, independent source reference and notability criteria (WP: ARTIST), see here: [1]. Those previous concerns are no longer a problem. In The Museum of Las Encartaciones you can find the work of this author included in the Cultural Heritage, Heritage Fund: Preserved Heritage.
Since Administrator SlimVirgin has died and protected the page, now I don't know who to turn to. Greetings and thanks.--Detoxtu (talk) 09:09, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, the latest deletion was performed by me, after this discussion. I cannot simply reverse the deletion, and given the socking that occurred there, I am not comfortable providing a userspace copy. If you genuinely have found fresh sources, I would suggest you write a new version, and send it to the articles for creation process. I would also suggest pinging the people who !voted "Delete" at AfD to have a look at your sources, because if you don't have new material, your draft is unlikely to get accepted. Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production Edits
Hello- wanted to talk about the proposed edits to Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production -
WRAP audits are accepted by several major brands and retailers, including Walmart[1], Disney[2], Carhartt[3], and Costco[4]. In addition, several emerging brands such as Summersault[5] and Quince[6] utilize WRAP audits as part of their internal supply chain due diligence programs.
Information is sourced from CSR Pages of cited retailers or from independent publications. Would also like to update certification information using IRS form 990. None of the proposed cited content violates WP:SPS - none of the content is published by WRAP, nor is any content sourced from WRAP website. Open for discussion and proposed edits.

Moderation
Hey Vanamonde,
First I want to thank you sincerely for your immense effort to bring order to the MEK talk page. I was saddened to see this comment. It reminds me of what you said earlier at User talk:Vanamonde93/Archive 38#Feedback that I need to offer more compromise. Fwiw, I did take your advice; for example, after you and others called me out on replacing "Iraq" with "Saddam", I dropped the issue and pursued it no further. I would have made further "compromises to achieve a readable page" except most RfCs an discussions aren't trying to improve page readability, but instead trying to skew the POV one way or the other. I do keep restoring this section Talk:People's Mujahedin of Iran#Rough word count of each section, which I believe holds the key to reducing page size, which you have repeatedly pointed out as a priority. I recently pinged Bahar to it in an attempt to "reach out to moderates on the other side".
I'm not saying all this to toot my own horn. I know I'm not a perfect editor and often make mistakes and lose my cool (that was partly why I asked you for feedback in Feb). But rather I want to say that your frustrations have not fell on deaf ears. Your moderation was super helpful in moving the discussion forward and breaking the deadlock. So I hope you will reconsider about moderating future discussions (if not immediately than maybe later on).
Thanks once again for your hard work on the page, VR talk 08:24, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Vice regent:, the kind words are appreciated. For several months, it has felt like I have spent hours reading and commenting, to no tangible benefit; so I feel quite disinclined to invest further time there. If circumstances change further down the line, I may reconsider. Best, Vanamonde (Talk) 20:45, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking care of the page. I can understand every one has real life commitments (life, job, studies and etc) and I should thank you for your time despite these real life issues. Also, I believe your comments were so helpful in guiding the discussions. I can show some examples, but I am here just for saying thanks. --Mhhossein talk 18:04, 12 June 2021 (UTC)

- Consensus was reached to deprecate Wikipedia:Editor assistance.
- Following a Request for Comment the Book namespace was deprecated.
- Wikimedia previously used the IRC network Freenode. However, due to changes over who controlled the network with reports of a forceful takeover by several ex-staff members, the Wikimedia IRC Group Contacts decided to move to the new Libera Chat network. It has been reported that Wikimedia related channels on Freenode have been forcibly taken over if they pointed members to Libera. There is a migration guide and Wikimedia discussions about this.
- After a Clarification request, the Arbitration Committee modified Remedy 5 of the Antisemitism in Poland case. This means sourcing expectations are a discretionary sanction instead of being present on all articles. It also details using the talk page or the Reliable Sources Noticeboard to discuss disputed sources.

Thanks for your comment. I completely understand you have some real life issues to handle and I acknowledged it in my thanks comment. You said the report had become a mess and you don't have the time to address it. But, isn't it signaling them the message that they can turn the ANI report into a mess so that no one deal with that? Just look how the reported user turned my repot into a real mess. --Mhhossein talk 06:24, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
