Thanks for uploading Image:YashandGauri.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:09, 31 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 21:09, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

The article Haryanvi dance has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unsourced article with no assertion of notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Splash - The Fun Park, Hissar
![](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/cf/Copyright-problem.svg/48px-Copyright-problem.svg.png)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Splash - The Fun Park, Hissar, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a clear copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Managing a conflict of interest
Hello, Vdhillon. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Masters Athletics Federation of India, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 15:18, 26 August 2014 (UTC)

As a reviewing administrator, I can tell you that these pages will not be speedy deleted. But please try to provide some actual content about each school, instead of merely copying the page for the Trust. The list of other schools run by the trust does not belong on the individual pages, & notable people normally means notable teachers and alumni with WP articles, not just the senior people associated with the sponsoring society. Also, both references and external links should be only about the school, not about other schools. There is a way of bringing these together as a WP:NAVBOX, but the article on the trust listing all of them is probably sufficient.
Please note also that it is necessary to specify clearly that these are secondary school preparing for college entrance; all others aren ormally redirected to the page for the locality or sponsoring body. And if at all possible, there should be at least one substantial third party independent reference about each school from a reliable published source.
The work you have doing is fine work if intended as preparatory work for real articles, but not if you are going to leave them at this. If the only information is the name and location of the school and a statement that it has classrooms and a library, it could just as well all go in the main article, and someone is likely to suggest it--or even just do it as an obvious improvement. If you need help, just ask me on my talk page. DGG ( talk ) 13:50, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
Thanks a lot, I will try to improve up on the entries/articles I created to make them more compliant.

Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Vdhillon, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your addition to Dolmen has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied without attribution. If you want to copy from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Copied from http://cls.byu.edu/welsh/Site_Books_files/Historic%20Wales%20and%20UK%201.pdf Thank you. Thank you too
Thanks you too Dougweller. I have to major goals: 1. Document new undocumented topics on wiki, specially in the underdeveloped world, mainly India and Philippines. 2. Get new first-timer local contributors on board from those areas, to get the digital revolution started in those underprivileged areas, thus helping them break the cycle of poverty.
This causes few challenges: 1. Learning curve means quality of articles may suffer initially and they may get deleted. My approach to this is, get them started anyway and let the future contributors refine as they get better with learning curve. 2. Run short wiki editing sessions in schools whenever I visit those areas as a volunteer. 3. Hopefully experienced wiki volunteer developers could develop an easier, more intuitive and contributor-friendly way of creating articles.
Any thoughts, and specially how to new contributors from under-documented under-developed areas get started in contributing but without their articles getting deleted.
Any suggestions. Thanks. Vdhillon (talk) 09:46, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
Contested deletion
Hi. You wrote: This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Vdhillon (talk) 18:14, 27 September 2014 (UTC) I have NO PERSONAL CONNECTION OR VESTED INTEREST WITH THIS PERSON or HIS INSTITUTES.
He is was a well known industrialist, philanthropist who worked for the upliftement of the poor people in rural areas and less developed smaller towns. He set up several WELL-KNOWN CHARITABLE NOT-FOR-PROFIT & TRUSTS to promote education in the LESS DEVELOPED areas of interiors and small town India. vry little informaiton on him exists on wiki, if this is not documented then his contribution to the history will be lost.
Hence it must exist on wikipedia, it adds to the domain of the knowledge and useful to current, former and future students, parents, alumni, teachers, staff members, etc and can be linked tot he wider list of educational institutes in the city.
Deficiencies in the quality of the article can be removed by the future wikipedia contributors, I have NO PERSONAL CONNECTION OR VESTED INTEREST WITH THIS PERSON. I have spent significant time in creating these entries to add to the domain of the knowledge as my gift tot he future generations.
- Unfortunately, although you added lots of links, you didn't give a clear picture of why this person was important. The article can be salvaged but you should develop it in your sandbox before uploading it. Deb (talk) 10:12, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
