Need to remove REDIRECT to Bharatanatyam
The current article on Bharatanatyam is written specific to a state and is not aligned with facts on South Indian Classical Dance, 'Bharatanatya'. It is embedded with many weasel references and POV statements contradicting the evidence based facts. Looking at the current format in detail it is not feasible to modify the 'Bharatanatyam' article due to many embedded information specific to a state. Also current photos are repetitive and do not show 'Bhava', an important aspect of 'Bharatanataya'. Therefore a new article on 'Bharatanatya' is needed in the interest of Wikipedia readers. To make optimum use of editors valuable time a separate article 'Bharatanatya' based on authentic evidences is needed. Therefore the REDIRECT will be removed say in 2 weeks based on consensus. No-comments will be implied as consensus as per guidelines.Naadapriya (talk) 05:56, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
There is no basis for the removal of this redirect, and so this proposal is rejected. Ncmvocalist (talk) 12:04, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Specific reasons for rejecting with authentic references are needed. Otherwise the above comment is muteNaadapriya (talk) 16:36, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
