Draft created for Hurricane Beryl tornado outbreak
I don't normally do this but given that Hurricane Beryl has been a prolific tornado producer, I made a tornado outbreak draft article for it. You can find it here. ChessEric 21:43, 9 July 2024 (UTC)

July 15-16
I've created a draft for the Tornado outbreak of July 15 specifically as it appears to be notable for the derecho that killed 1 and the widespread scope of 75-100mph winds. If injuries or deaths are confirmed from individual tornadoes in this, it should be added per the Wikipedia:WikiProject Weather/Tornadoes of YYYY criteria. - 2 injuries have been confirmed by the NWS Chicago from the Minooka - Joliet tornado. Tweet here. 216.80.62.221 (talk) 20:16, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
This article should be renamed US and European Tornafos of 2024. Canada and Australia at least have had tornados too. I came here to get the list, and there isn't even a section for those countries, or even a stub.
see above 70.51.112.82 (talk) 02:22, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
- The reasoning for this is because a tornado event has to have a notability factor (e.g. fatalities, high-rating, etc.) and many that happen in places like Australia, Canada and Europe don't meet these criteria. Sir MemeGod ._. (talk - contribs - created articles) 02:26, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
- I checked and so far there has only been one tornado in the entirety of Australia, an EF1. Hardly worth actually mentioning. This information is easily available if you just go to the search bar and type List of Australia tornadoes. Canada's information seems to be more patchy but tornado damage data should be readily available
- This is a very general article of an event that happens nearly 2000 times a year globally and we cant document every single random rope that touches the ground for 5 metres, so we focus on major and notable events DukeDragon28 (talk) 15:33, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
