Speedy deletion nomination of Michelle B. Cowley
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Michelle B. Cowley requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Michelle B. Cowley. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Michelle B. Cowley. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 16:04, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Michelle B. Cowley, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 18:00, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
Please stop continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Michelle B. Cowley, without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. The autobiography template is there to alert others to your edits to the article. You may not remove that tag. Only an independent editor may remove it, after reviewing the article and making any necessary rewrites, particularly for tone and neutral point of view. —C.Fred (talk) 18:00, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Michelle B. Cowley. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! - I'm disappointed that you have not engaged the editors leaving you messages here and at the noticeboard. Ignoring this won't make it go away. Ironic considering the nature of your research vis a vis thoughtful choices. Brianhe (talk) 21:10, 13 February 2017 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Callanecc. I noticed that in this edit to Michelle B. Cowley, you removed all the content without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 11:25, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
