US 66 state-detail KMLs
- Class: 8
C-Class articles and 1
B-Class article
- Action required: New KMLs
- KML: That's what this request will create!
- Status: New request
- Comments: Of the US 66 articles, only the Kansas state-detail article has a KML. If a few of us take a few days, we can get them knocked out. I think it would be neat if we could show how the route changed, say go every 10 years, so we can show the route in 1926, 1936, 1946, 1956, 1966, 1976, and upon decommissioning. If someone has a better idea of time period milestones, please speak up. Anyway, I'm looking for help to make KMLs for US 66. I am willing to compile the state KMLs into one mega file for the main US 66 article. –Fredddie™ 01:44, 4 February 2014 (UTC)

- @Fredddie: I would like to help, but the US66 route is no longer in use (as far as I know) so I don't know how to easily do it. Thewombatguru (talk) 23:33, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
- @Fredddie: I recreated the one for Kansas, it wasn't clear what alignment it used so I added that to it. If you want me to help with the others, maybe we could do that together? TheWombatGuru (talk) 07:23, 25 November 2014 (UTC)

Alaska Marine Highway
- Class:
C-Class article
- Action required: New map
- Status: New request
- KML: Yes
- Comments: Note, the Marine Highway is a ferry system that serves coastal Alaska as our "highway." The State of Alaska Department of Transportation has KML files at http://www.dot.alaska.gov/stwdplng/mapping/kml.shtml. I don't know if when they say "route" they mean for the marine highway or if it is a KML file for the more traditional highway system. Thank you for any assistance you can provide for this project. - @Name Omitted: File:Amhs.svg exists. Did you want something different? –Fredddie™ 17:45, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
