Re: Flushing, Michigan
Hello Haminoon. I received a message from you on November 2014 which I read today, in which you said you undid one of "my" edits on the page for Flushing, MI. I assure you that I have never actually visited that page; it may be that someone else is using this IP address. (I am not a user and have no identifying handle.)
A barnstar for you!

Identifying which if a source is reliable or not
You have continuously reverted my contributions to the article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maithripala_Sirisena stating that my citations are not from reliable sources. Could you explain why the sources I have cited are nor reliable (specially the data taken from the state owned Department of Statistics and the Department of Elections)? I will appreciate it. --Sadeera (talk) 10:11, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- I have reverted them once, not continuously. I never said the sources were unreliable; I said it was original research. As I wrote in your talk page your edit combined "published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say." I provided links on your talk page about this. How about you read them first? -- haminoon (talk) 10:16, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi. I guess you are referring to two statements I have added to the article.
1. I have stated what are the majority ethnic groups in the given electoral districts based on the data from the Department of Statistics and Census.
2. I have stated the number of electorates the each candidate has won based on the data from the Department of Elections.
Neither of the above sources falls in to the category of original research and which one of the above are you referring to when you say "published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say"? Thanks, --Sadeera (talk) 10:39, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- The text you added was "Sirsena was the winner in 12 electoral districts 6 of which consisted of predominantly Tamil or Muslim minorities whilst Rajapaksa was victorious in the remaining 10 where the majority was the Sinhalese.", but one reference doesn't mention Sirsena, while the other one doesn't mention the ethno-religious makeup of the electorates. I suggest you read WP:OR more carefully. -- haminoon (talk) 21:58, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
Add a new para
@Haminoon :Please add a new paragraph in the page Prostitution in Bangladesh named 'sexuality in bangladesh' .... in this paragraph you'll write that bangladesh has no sexual independence like western countries. i wont write because i havent found any reference regarding that. Somaly Mam Foundation
Well, it was nominated for speedy by another admin, so at least two of us thought it met the criteria. I'll restore here shortly Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:50, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks @Jimfbleak: and @DGG:. It is possible for two admins to make mistakes. As the article has a criticism section (albeit rather weak), it can't be called "exclusively promotional". I don't mind it being deleted but if it was put up for afd at least it would have been redirected and merged into the main article properly. -- haminoon (talk) 20:47, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
- I would have no objection to undeleting for the purposes of a merge. DGG ( talk ) 22:01, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
- @DGG:. I have no objection to restore and merge. Since the text is already sandboxed, can that be moved and merged? I just wonder if doing a separate restore and merge leads two any complications? Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:45, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 26
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jam City, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Guardian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

2nd nomination for AfD of Uma Kumaran article
I just wanted to let you know that I've renominated the article on Uma Kumaran to AfD.
Since you were the proposer of the original nomination, your input would be appreciated in this discussion.
Many thanks
