Bradford University School of Management, located in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England and established in 1963, is an international business school. It occupies buildings near Lister Park which are separate from the main University of Bradford campus. The Bradford University School of Management is believed to be the origin of the Bradford factor, an absence review technique in HRM.[citation needed]

Introduction
The School of Management provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees in management, including MBA (Master of Business Administration) courses; as well as non-degree courses for business executives, welcoming around 1,500 practising managers on shorter courses each year from corporations such as Emirates airlines, RBS, Pace, Skipton Building Society and Ciba Specialtiy Chemicals.
Currently, the School has 1000 undergraduates, over 500 postgraduates on taught courses, 100 doctoral students in Bradford and a further 4500 across the world. The current establishment of the School is some 160 academic and support staff, including 18 professors. Additionally, the School has some 120 associate staff.
The School has a range of programmes around the world, running programmes in Europe (with its associate institution NIMBAS in the Netherlands and Germany), the Middle East, China, India and Singapore. Some 2,000 students are registered for various awards on overseas programmes.
Around 80 students graduate from the full-time MBA each year, and 25 from the part-time MBA. The School also offers part-time Executive MBA courses for around 50 students per year and courses abroad such as the Dubai MBA and the Bradford-Perugia MBA in Italy. As well as a Masters degree in Finance, International management, accounting, HRM.
Almost half the academic staff are from outside Britain or have non-UK qualifications. In addition, more than 30 nations are represented at the Bradford campus.
Over 60% of students, and over 50% of faculty, come from outside the UK.[citation needed]

The School is accredited by the AMBA and EQUIS[1]
Ranking
According to the Financial Times, the School of Management is ranked 9th in the UK[2]. Worldwide, the school is ranked in 89th place in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2010.[3]The distance learning MBA program is ranked by the Economist Intelligence Unit 10th in the World.[4]
