License tagging for File:Captain Arm Band.png
Thanks for uploading File:Captain Arm Band.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 07:05, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

Reply to Podshow Participation Request
I don't know what is involved because I don't know how to do this. If I did become involved, the time put in would be quite sporadic due to the workload here. However, I certainly see that the Podshow category could use help, and would not mind participating. dmelliott 00:01, 2 February 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dmelliott (talk • contribs)

Thanks for your recent vandalism report. You might want to look at WP:CVU for a bit more information on the process. Cheers, --Alan the Roving Ambassador (talk) 19:59, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
Roberta Lee
Hi, I just looked at your suggested notability standards for podcasters and must say I pretty strongly disagree with most of it. My own Wikipedia page (Roberta Lee) is going to be deleted soon because it is so difficult to prove number of downloads, and I'm not the BBC or PBS - - I'm just a writer with a podcast based on a 435 page, published book of mine that has been consistently number 1 on iTunes in the category 'Tarot podcast' for over a year (it's called The Language of Tarot), as well as a podcast of my novels that has been within the top 5 on iTunes in the category 'podcast novel' for the past six months or so (it's called Suburban Sprawl).
I did not create a Wikipedia page for myself, a group of my fans did it. And yet I've gotten drawn into the discussion since it appears that nothing I have done--including publishing 7 novels and two nonfiction books and successfully transitioning from free to paid podcasts, can be documented well enough to keep the little blurb about my work here on Wikipedia.
Anyway, I think your guidelines favor large corporate podcasters and eliminate independent, creative podcasters, who keep the art form vibrant and relevant.
Thanks for your time, Roberta Lee Bertgrrrl (talk) 20:10, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Forgive my ignorance, my comment went under the vandalism report thing my mistake. I'm a writer, not a Wikipedia maven, so I think I'll go write and let all this be . . . Roberta lee (Bertgrrrl (talk) 20:12, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Alison Rosen article
Hello and mahalo. Are you planning on writing an article on Alison Rosen soon? It's been salted, but it's possible to write a userspace article and unsalt it if there has been more coverage since she joined AceNet. Let me know if you begin a userspace version. tedder (talk) 21:33, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

Public holidays in the United States
Hi Udeezy. I noticed that you commented in favor of a tabular format on Talk:Public holidays in the United States. I've taken a preliminary stab at making some tables here. If you have time, I'd really appreciate any ideas you have to make the tables more usable or attractive, or what more you think they would need in order to be an improvement over the current version of the article. I am asking for input from all the editors who've expressed interest in a tabular format, so if you do have any comments, please leave them on the Talk:Public holidays in the United States page to centralize discussion. Thanks! FCSundae ∨☃ (talk) 10:36, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Mike Cox (journalist)
8/24/12 Hi Udeezy - My last submission to try to get this author on Wikipedia was July 17. I have heard nothing since then. Nada. Can you please give me an update on where Wikipedia is with approving Mike Cox, Journalist's WP page?

Hi Udeezy -
The documentation you requested when you reviewed this article Saturday I have mainly in a Word doc with no way to attach.
There is too much in it to use it all in the article I submitted. If you are willing to receive the file, let me know how I can attach it to you.

WikiProject Podcasting active members
Hey Udeezy I'm currently doing some spring cleaning with WikiProject Podcasting and saw that you put yourself on the list as an active Wikiproject member last year. I've updated the member list for this Wikiproject, so if you're still editing podcast articles please feel free to add yourself on to this year's member list. Cheers and happy podcasting. --Breno talk 06:12, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
Daily Newspapers
Given the history of institutional bias in daily newspapers and their subsequent decline — and now near-death — this should not be a criterion for notability.
Respected weeklies engage in careful research and are often more reliable than dailies.
Massive coverage is not necessarily the standard of literary significance. People can make a difference — particularly groundbreaking alternative or cult figures — without being widely celebrated in mainstream media.
Please do not discount notability for lack of mainstream acknowledgement. All that takes is economic backing and a publicist — not quality of ideas, writing, thought or influence.
Please keep an open mind.
Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Metronews (talk • contribs) 06:24, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 15
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Eastern Standard Time. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invite to the African Destubathon
Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
