Slavic Orthodox Church or Slavonic Orthodox Church is an umbrella term for Orthodox Christian Churches that use Church Slavonic or another Slavic language in their liturgies, typically of the Byzantine Rite. All Slavic Churches, with the exception of the Bulgarian and Polish Churches, use the Julian calendar exclusively, and all use it to calculate the date Pascha (Easter) is celebrated.
