Invitation to Admin confidence survey
Hello,
Beginning in September 2017, the Wikimedia Foundation Anti-harassment tool team will be conducting a survey to gauge how well tools, training, and information exists to assist English Wikipedia administrators in recognizing and mitigating things like sockpuppetry, vandalism, and harassment.
The survey should only take 5 minutes, and your individual response will not be made public. This survey will be integral for our team to determine how to better support administrators.
To take the survey sign up here and we will send you a link to the form.
We really appreciate your input!
Please let us know if you wish to opt-out of all massmessage mailings from the Anti-harassment tools team.

ITN request: slight modification of wording of Sinai attack entry
Hi, BorgQueen! Even though I am an admin, I'm not frequently involved with ITN stuff.
I want to say the mosque involved in the recent is near bir-al-abed, not in it, as a CNN article stated "Gunmen fired on people fleeing after explosions took place at the mosque between Bir al-Abed and the city of al-Arish." - attack is at 31.039458, 33.34783; 'El Arish City' is here https://goo.gl/maps/8KhQEeYXYKT2
Would it be okay if I made the change straight away, or should I ask first?
Thanks, WhisperToMe (talk) 03:34, 25 November 2017 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Monster Girl
The article Monster Girl has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Complete WP:FANCRUFT, no indication of notability whatsoever.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 00:22, 20 February 2018 (UTC)

Notification of pending suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity
Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in more than one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed if you do not return to activity within the next month. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e. as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised, that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions, that you have not been inactive for a three-year period of time, and that you have not been inactive from administrative tasks for a five year period of time). If you remain inactive for a three-year period of time, including the present year you have been inactive, you will need to request reinstatement at WP:RFA. Further, following a community discussion in March of 2018, administrators suspended for inactivity who have not had any logged administrative activity for five years will need to request reinstatement at WP:RFA. This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. — JJMC89 bot 00:05, 1 November 2018 (UTC)

I really don't know a lot of admins right now. I am glad you are back. There seems that anyone that is an administer is pretty busy. I hope you can help me. I check my stats probably once a month to check the info. I am having a problem. I was startled to see that 9,000 edits of mine have been deleted. The last time I looked at my reverts a year ago the number under a couple hundred. First of all can you see these of these reversions? I am concerned at this point that there might be an ongoing issue. If there are thousands of reversions that I don't know about I won't really be able to understand and prevent any future er specific issues. Best Regards, Barbara ✐✉ 23:52, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
- Hmm I'm not familiar with these technical aspects. You probably better get help elsewhere. --BorgQueen (talk) 03:42, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
