Pointy is an Irish-based subsidiary of Google Inc that helps people find out what their local stores have in physical stock.[1] It provides a small, physical box that could be used by any retailer with a barcode scanner, which then displays them online.[1]
In January 2020, Google acquired the company and integrated with Google Maps.[1]
