I was a regular editor of Wikipedia from 2006 through 2008 and an editor, administrator, and bureaucrat on other wiki sites from 2008 through 2012. I now consider myself "unretired" from Wikipedia and my editing interests currently include New Zealand politics, history, and literature, although I enjoy revising articles of any kind. Since beginning on Wikipedia, I attended the University of Otago where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (first class) in English. My honours dissertation analysed principles of collaborative writing and included a chapter about Wikipedia editing practices; I have also contributed to a published book of scholarly essays on the correspondence of nineteenth-century British women writers. I currently work in the civil service. |
