Following a community discussion in June 2011, administrator accounts that have neither edits nor log actions for at least one year may be subject to procedural removal of administrator permissions for inactivity, and following a 2022 community discussion, starting from 1 January 2023, administrator accounts that have made fewer than 100 edits in the last 5 years will also be subject to this policy.
This page is used for coordination, to ensure that the requirements are met prior to administrator permissions being removed.
Administrators may simply remove their name from this page prior to the date indicated to avoid procedural removal for inactivity.
Criteria

Text of notifications
The text of the notifications sent to users has been standardized at {{Inactive admin}}. At the present time, notifications are placed on talk pages and emailed by JJMC89 bot. For technical reasons, the email notifications are taken from User:JJMC89 bot/config/InactiveAdmins, which must be updated when the templates are changed.
